Sign up to join as a skipper and we will find a crew that needs one. You will be part of their crew and have an experience together! This has been very popular, in 2009 we had 16 skippers participating this way.
All you have to pay for is your flight down and a fee of 100 €, instead of 230 € (student) or 330 € (alumni). Your are a considered as a partipants of REGATTA ESCP Europe, so you will benefit of all sevices reserved for them.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Italy: The skipper needs to have a navigational certificate.
The regatta will be amatorial and no specific racing skills are required.
Most important is that you feel safe in maneuvering a sailing yacht! Original copies of license certificates should be provided sending an email to booking@regatta-escp.eu.
During the trip from Naples to Capri, you must brief the crew about the fondamental sailing skills.
RESPONSIBILITY
Damages on the yacht that result from an accident caused by the skipper are paid equally by ALL crew members (passengers and captain), based on a signed contract. If the damage is caused solely by the passengers, then the captain is not responsible for the cost of those damages.
Consider that the sailboats will be always moored in the Naples and Capri Marina.
The maximum cost from an accident will be the security deposit fee given before the check-in. This event has not occurred on previous trips, although there have been minor damages to the boat sometimes amounting to a total of 100-500 € per boat.
